Docent
Leads tours, giving visitors an overview of General Knox, the historical background and recreation of the mansion, as well as creating an awareness of the fine collection of
18th century furniture.
Museum Shop
Greets & assists visitors with
gift shop purchases.
Bakers
Helps prepare baked goods for special events & functions.
Programs
Works with museum staff to prepare and host special events & programs throughout the year.
Gardens & Landscaping
Completes small weeding and
planting projects, works on seasonal yard clean up.
Buildings
Assists with small projects related to the building, such as installing/removing screen doors on a seasonal basis.
Collections Committee
Works with the collections manager on projects related to the preservation and building of the museum collections.
Development Committee
Works with the executive director to build outside support for the museum through membership, donor cultivation and grants.
Marketing Committee
Works with the assistant to the executive director to publicize museum programming and other marketing initiatives.
